Below are steps on how to tame guinea pigs! Remember to be patient and only move onto the next step once they are calm and confident in the previous. Always pick up guinea pigs carefully and support their back ends while holding.
When thinking about getting guinea pigs there are a lot of factors to consider. There is a lot of conflicting information online, below are the things I have found useful and interesting and things that I feel are important to know when getting guinea pigs or even if you already have them!

Boars and sows are different in a lot of ways. It is important to remember that every guinea pig is different and each have their own personalities. There is always a possibility of a pair or group falling out, however this is small. Please see my companionship section.

Guinea pig needs - Overview
Fresh water, Hay - 80% of diet, fresh veg - 1 cup per piggie, pellets - 2tbsp per piggie, dried forage sprinkled in hay. Please see the diet section for further information.
